Mr. Jesse Rempel
Mr. Jesse Rempel is a counsellor who is completing his doctoral clinical psychology program (Psy.D.) at Adler University. Mr. Rempel offers psychoeducational assessments and individual therapy for children, youth, and adults. Mr. Rempel is passionate about helping clients healing from trauma and has a particular interest in working with anxiety, depression, and attachment within the family context.
Mr. Rempel draws from a variety of clinical approaches, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and acceptance and commitment therapy, and takes a client-centered stance across all of his work. Mr. Rempel strives to create a secure base from which his clients can fulfill their emotional and support needs. Mr. Rempel believes in accepting clients at their developmental stage and nurturing the personal strengths, values, and inner coping skills they already possess. Mr. Rempel’s dissertation focused on reviewing evidence for music therapy with adolescents.
