Supervision for Students and Professionals

Dr. Deborah Bell is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia. Dr. Bell meets the requirements set out by the College for supervising applicants for registration. Dr. Bell supervises students and professionals in their clinical work and teaches at the university level. She offers supervision in the areas of individual therapy, play therapy, attachment, and infant mental health.

Dr. Bell is energized by supervising other professionals in their clinical work and supports therapists in their work with all types of clients. She supervises psychologists, counselors and students at all different levels of experience. She supervises from the perspective that each therapist brings with them their own experience, insights and talents, and that growth as a therapist should be nurtured and inspired.

Dr. Bell is happy to work within each therapist’s own theoretical perspective but offers the opportunity to increase breadth and expand knowledge areas. However, as Dr. Bell works primarily from an attachment model, this perspective will be reflected. Dr. Bell provides external supervision to therapists already working with a client body, or can provide on-site clients for therapists requiring a full internship.
