Dr. Christiana Goetz
Dr. Christiana Goetz (PhD) is currently in the process of registering as a psychologist. Her clinical practice encompasses psychological, psychoeducational, and neurodevelopmental assessments for individuals of all ages. She is passionate about using a neurodiversity-affirming, strength-based approach to assessments, ensuring needs are understood while also highlighting strengths. Dr. Goetz is also knowledgeable about ADHD and other neurodivergent differences for girls and young adults, who might otherwise be missed. She believes that those who are struggling deserve to be seen and understood.
For intervention, Dr. Goetz has experience working with school-age children, teens, and adults with a wide range of psychological and neurodevelopmental concerns, including autism and ADHD related struggles, anxiety, emotion regulation, executive functioning, OCD, depression, PTSD, chronic pain, and self-esteem. She has training and experience with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for PTSD, mindfulness, DBT skills, and executive functioning skills coaching. She takes a compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming, and client-centred approach to therapy. Dr. Goetz is excited to be bringing an attachment lens to her therapy and parent consulting work at Sand Story Services.
